Hannah Street Consulting, Inc. grew out of a desire to help a diverse group of organizations improve their planning, fundraising, marketing/public relations and volunteer recruitment. The founding goal of Hannah Street Consulting, Inc. was to serve small and mid-sized organizations in building capacity in a very affordable and hands-on way.

Since 2003, Hannah Street has served many organizations in the Providence and Greater Boston metropolitan areas and across the country. Some examples of issues on which we’ve worked are: homelessness and poverty, students with learning differences, historic preservation, arts and culture, youth education, land and water preservation and arts for inner city youth. Organizational budgets have varied from $60,000 to $10 million annually.

Work to date has produced results and reaffirmed Hannah Street’s conviction that small and mid-sized organizations can make good use of affordable counsel and hands-on assistance. Hannah Street remains committed to being accessible to the non-profit community – to organizations of all sizes, for a wide variety of projects.

Hannah Street now comprises two consultants – Jennifer Gazdacko and the founder, Betsy Grenier. They work with clients on funding plans, special events, grants and major gifts as well as individual giving, specifically growing annual appeals, developing major gift programs and improving cultivation and stewardship of donors as well as strategic planning, feasibility studies and campaign implementation and special events. The consulting team is supported by assistants who bring valuable research, writing, and planning skills to their work.
